Welcome to Tenby Folk Festival.

Tenby Folk Festival arrives at Tenby, Pembrokeshire during August Bank Holiday weekend on the 23rd, 24th, 25th August 2008. The festival intends to showcase the cream of the UK folk and roots scene, mixed among the finest international folk artists available today, to establish Tenby Folk Festival as one of the best Folk Festivals in Wales and perhaps further afield.

Growing interest in Celtic roots music shall provide an impetus for the festival to introduce a broad aspect of Celtic based musicians, as well as the more traditional award winning English folk artists.

Unfortunately due to ill health Eliza has been forced to cancel her appearances at festivals this coming weekend including Tenby, Eliza is suffering from Asthma and severe laryngitis which has ensured she is now totally unable to sing. Many thanks for your understanding and we wish Eliza a speedy recovery. We have taken the decision not to replace Eliza and close the show earlier at 12.30, but we believe the line-up is still one of the best in Wales this year.
